Complete

used when you are emphasizing something， to meant the greatest degree possible’ 完全的，彻底的 [表示强调]
1. I was in a complete haze.
我完全糊涂了。
2. She is a complete novice as a reporter.
她初任记者，完全是个生手。
3. The room was in complete darkness.
房间里一片漆黑。

compete和complete拼写和发音相似，容易混淆。请注意它们词性的不同。compete为动词，complete可以用作动词和形容词。
